Music Law Seminar

On Friday, I headed to Tottenham on behalf of Horus Music to take part in the Music Law Seminar which was hosted by Afrotown Records.

Whilst there I gave a presentation on music distribution and then took part in a panel discussion alongside Tunecore/Believe Digital, PRS for Music and Afrotown Records.

This was a really interesting presentation for us, especially since I was presenting the company in front of Sam Taylor from Tunecore (one of our direct competitors). It meant that I was really able to highlight our differences and to enable the audience to make better informed decisions for themselves. We’re all about personal relationships at Horus Music and so events like this will always be important for us.

The Music Law Seminar provided a good opportunity for us to meet aspiring musicians and discuss ways in which we can help them to reach wider audiences, as well as providing them with the much needed advice they were asking for.
