Brighton Music Conference 2016

Straight after London Book Fair I headed down to Brighton back with Horus Music for Brighton Music Conference.

Horus Music was one of the sponsors of the event this year, which meant that we were also given the opportunity to host a panel, which I organised. The title of our panel was ‘Downloads, Streaming, Vinyl and Record Labels: Navigating the Next 10 Years’ and proved to be successful with a packed audience. The response was great and we had so many questions that we almost ran over our strict time slot.

The panel consisted of Nathan Somerville (Digital Marketing Manager at Juno), Rob Anderson (Product Specialist at Pioneer), Nick Dunn (CEO at Horus Music), Jules O’ Riordan aka Judge Jules (DJ and Lawyer) and Chris Tams (Director of Independent Member Services at BPI) who also chaired the panel.

We then headed off to some networking parties and continued many of the conversations that we’d been having with people we’d met throughout the day.
